Well, the days are getting longer and the sun definitely has more strength. Just the other day it was minus 25, but seemed like a balmy minus 24, which means Spring is just around the corner. Hopefully everyone has their paint and chrome ready for installation on their latest projects as not only Spring but the local bike shows will soon be here.

I only have one unfinished project in the garage but working on it has become kind of a chore just because of lack of room. I got rid of one bike to Al and 1 to my brother-in-law last summer, but unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it, I bought 3 more.

As alluded to last column, I am soon to retire from my Gov't job, so that should give me lots of time to finish up all my projects. I figure I am too young to quit working and Dar has a ways to go, so I am going to have to find a job to take up some of my free time. I have several options but someone asked me what I would really like to do. Having reflected on that I realize I like having a job where I wear a uniform. That in mind I made a list of all the neat uniforms out there. I guess I am going to become a Nun!

Hope everyone has fun finishing up their Winter projects. Maybe some day they will have bike building as a Winter Olympic Sport. Someone from Saskatchewan would be sure to win the Gold.

Ride Safe

Peter
